Robert Spuller
Robert Spuller received his Masters Degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1987. He retired in 2008 from the Niagara County Department of Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services after 31 years of service. In addition to working as a counselor/therapist, he served as the Clinical Supervisor and Program Manager of Niagara County Drug Abuse Program. He also served as the Clinical Supervisor and Program Manager of the Niagara County Hotline and Crisis Intervention Services. For 29 years, he served as a designated Niagara County Mental Health Officer responsible to responding on a 24 hour basis to mental health emergencies in Niagara County such as threats of suicide and other mental health crisis situations. He was appointed by the Niagara County Legislature in 2015 to serve on the Board of Directors of the Niagara County Community Services Board for an eight year term. He was elected to serve a three year term as a Board President from 2018 to 2021.
